As experts in intralogistics solutions, we are dedicated to optimizing the automated flow of goods in tire manufacturing. How do we do it? By implementing three high-bay warehouses. Since the production steps in tire manufacturing are essentially the same, it makes sense to incorporate three high-bay warehouses into the process: one for storing green tires, one in the final finishing area, and one for the finished tires at the end of the production line. This approach not only saves time and money but also significantly reduces the space required.

Barum, now a proud subsidiary of Continental, has a remarkable history that began in 1945 with the merger of three renowned Czechoslovakian manufacturers: Bat'a, Rubena, and Mitas. In 1972, Barum relocated its production from Zlín to a cutting-edge facility in Otrokovice.
In 1993, Barum joined Continental AG, a global leader in the automotive industry with approximately 178,000 employees across 49 countries. Today, the Otrokovice plant is Continental's largest tire manufacturing facility by production volume. Each year, 4,771 employees produce over 22 million tires for leading brands like Continental, Barum, Uniroyal, and Semperit.
